United States: CNN data reporter Harry Enten said on Monday that Harris could see the “worst” Democratic result in union voters’ era.
At times there are figures worth highlighting, in fact ought to blare a warning.” This is it, this is union households. This is the Democratic margin which currently stands at the presidential election. It ain’t, what it used to be,” Enten began. That union that I like to talk about Bill Clinton won by 30 points.
Previously, Hillary Clinton only managed to clinch the state by a mere 12 points in the previous election, last 2016. That’s the lowest score for a Democrat since 1984, Mondale/Reagan.
But look at where Kamala Harris is today where if the president were to be removed she would become the next president of United States of America. There she is only having nine- point lead.
As reported by the Fox News, Enten described that President Biden was at +19 among the union household voters in November, 2020.
The Democratic candidate’s vote total would be the lowest in a generation of democrats. Ten points off the mark of Joe Biden, who of course claimed the presidency four years ago, and I think people do remember that Biden was that union guy, union Joe, right? he said of Harris’ numbers Enten also mentioned something about voters who have traded school or vocation school.
Just take a look at this margin, this to me, oh boy, does this tell you about the state of politics or lack of today compared to the early 1990’s margin among those who graduated from vocational n trade school in the pre-election polls. That vote was being led by Bill Clinton against George H.W. Bush by seven points. Just consider where Donald Trump is now over Kamala Harris, 31 points,” Enten said.
In the past few weeks the Teamsters labor union stated that they will not pick a candidate to vote for the president post. Afleck has endorsed democrats in nearly all elections since 1988 when the association endorsed George H.W Bush. Similarly, the union also declined to give an anointed candidate in the 1996 election.
“When I think people think of a working class and they think of people who use their hands and we also know that Donald Trump has been going after that vote and the is a very very strong position and more so perhaps than any other bloc and the folks who got to the trade school and vocational school vocational school that has moved from being a core democratic group to now being a core group of the Donald Trump’s massive amount of the support among the working class,” Eten said.
The data reporter also noted that Trump had gained among the non-college voters of the color despite Harris still leading among the group overall.
